Smooch is a special move in Paper Mario and a move in Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake. In Paper Mario, it is taught by Misstar after Mario saves her and the two escape from the erupting Mt. Lavalava in Chapter 5. When Mario uses Smooch in battle, Misstar appears and gives him a kiss that restores 20 HP. The move requires three SP to use.

In Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door and its Nintendo Switch remake, Smooch is a move that can be performed by Ms. Mowz after the player reaches Ultra Rank. This attack costs 10 FP, the most of any partner move in the game. To perform this move, the player must alternately press the and buttons to fill a gauge before the time limit is up. As the timer expires, Ms. Mowz kisses Mario, healing him from 1 to 10 HP depending on how far the gauge was filled. As Ms. Mowz pulls back from the kiss, the player can press to perform a Stylish move.
