Diddly Squat is one of Dribble & Spitz's microgames in WarioWare: Smooth Moves and returns as one of Jimmy T's microgames in WarioWare Gold.

Gameplay

The player has to do a level dependent number of squats as a level dependent character. A squat is done by either by moving the Wii Remote up and down in WarioWare: Smooth Moves or by pressing +Control Pad down then +Control Pad up in WarioWare Gold. Afterwards, the character onscreen will become extremely buff. The location the microgame takes place in is level dependent, but consistently has a blue clipboard in the upper right portion of the screen. It lists the number of squats remaining, with each finished squat causing the visible piece of paper to tear away and reveal another piece with the next number. In WarioWare: Smooth Moves, the piece of paper after "1" is green and displays "OK", while there is no additional paper in WarioWare Gold. In WarioWare Gold, if no correct input or no input at all is given for a long enough time, a + Control Pad prompt with the correct direction will appear. Additionally, in WarioWare Gold the microgame ends upon finishing the final squat, irrespective of the following animation.

WarioWare: Smooth Moves

  • Level 1 The player must do one squat as a man in a gym. When the game is beaten, the man gets a champion belt.
  • Level 2: The player must do two squats as a girl in a classroom. When the game is beaten, two kneeling men in suits appear near the girl.
  • Level 3: The player must do three squats as an old man in a room. When the game is beaten, two kids hang from the elder's arms.

WarioWare Gold

  • Level 1: The player must do one squat as a man on a competition's stage. When the game is beaten, the man receives a medal and scores of ten from four judges.
  • Level 2: The player must do two squats as a woman on a beach. Two dolphins fall for the woman when the game is beaten.
  • Level 3: The player must do three squats as an old man in a yard. When the game is beaten, four boys sit on the elderly man's arms.
